Tushar Patel, CEO, Founder
Tushar Patel is a 20 year industry veteran of the consumer electronics
and software industries. He began his career as the National Product
Trainer for Mitsubishi Electronics where he trained over 30,000 sales
associates including Circuit City and Best Buy. In 1995, He founded
VirtualMarketing.com that eventually went public as USWeb Corporation
in 1997 as the world's largest web development company. USWeb brought
the majority of the Fortune1000 "on line" with their first web
presence. He personally built Nokia.com, Zenith.com and
Thomasville.com from his spare bedroom during the genesis of the dot
com era. Mr. Patel was also called on to testify before the US Congress in
1997 to help the United States government understand and shape internet
policy. His testimony is stilled published and used today to protect
intellectual property over the internet.
In 2000, Mr. Patel developed a web based property management software to
manage his own real estate holdings and enhance the amenities for his own
penthouse condominium, "a la George Jetson". In 2001, He presented his
solution to the largest property management company in America, The
Continental Group Inc. Together they formed Simplikate Systems LLC, a
wholly owned subsidiary of the property management giant, to provide
proprietary property management and SMART Building software to
Homeowner associations and luxury high rises worldwide. Simplikate
and The Continental Group Inc. are part of the First Service
Corporation, a billion dollar plus services company ( NASDAQ "FSRV" ).
Tushar's most recent achievement is introducing a third generation of
SMART Building technology appropriately named, "techcierge™"; a tried
and true solution to SMART Community living gained from real, time
tested day to day usage.
Matthew Lindenberger, CTO
Matt was voted "most talented entrepreneur under 30" by the Chicago Sun
Times. He is an accomplished, symphony level musician and master
programmer in several top computer languages. Matt is the chief
architect and programmer for Simplikate's CommunityConnect™ platform as
well as techcierge™. He now leads a talented, diverse group of
programmers that specialize in every aspect of the software that
Simplikate deploys. Matt's programming leadership secures Simplikate's
unrivaled position as the "boutique" property management software
solution. Simplikate is focused soley on property management, so the
software is highly evolved and targeted to the needs of Boards and
Developers worldwide.
Gene Gomberg, Board of Directors
CEO First Management Partners Inc.
Gene is a founding partner of The Continental Group and served as the company's Chief Executive Officer from inception until November, 2007, when he stepped away from the day-to-day management of the company to serve as CEO of FirstManagement Partners, the parent company of Continental. More than 30 years ago, Gene developed the full-service property management concept that drives Continental's business and continues to be the model for property management firms across the country.
Richard Strunin, Board of Directors
President First Management Partners Inc.
Richard is a founding partner of The Continental Group. He initially served as Executive Vice President and was appointed President in 1993, a role he held until November, 2007. Currently, Richard serves as President of FirstManagement Partners, the parent company of Continental, where he is responsible completing key acquisitions, including the due diligence process and for implementing and coordinating the sharing of best practices and general operating procedures throughout the FirstManagement Partners companies.
Steve Christensen, Board Of Directors
CFO First Management Partners Inc.
Steve joined The Continental Group in 1991 and served as its Chief Financial Officer until November, 2007. Steve now serves as CFO of FirstManagement Partners where he is responsible for fiscal management, financial due diligence for acquisitions, all financial reporting, budgeting, capital forecasting and other financial-related compliance of the company and its subsidiaries. Prior to joining Continental, Steve was Comptroller for Florida East Coast Properties.
